Having a “Cup of Coffee” in the major leagues typically indicates a failure to remain in the Big Show. So, what happened to these players? Where did they go and what did they do? Many short to moderate time major leaguers ended up in the Hall of Fame – in another sport. Others were successful in the entertainment industry or missed out on longer baseball careers due to their military service.

Still others played only a short time but made a lasting impression by setting records or being involved in some strange or unusual occurrence.

Many would have been recognized for their baseball accomplishments if only they were not related to some of baseball’s greatest players. Many became successful coaches and managers.
